Harmony Day 21st March 2017

Apologies for the delayed post...Term 1 got away from me towards the end.

We celebrated Harmony Day at school on the 21st March 2017. Students were invited to come dressed in their traditional clothing or had the option to wear orange. We first went to a whole school assembly/harmony parade. Each class got up and paraded around, showing the school how great we looked in our outfits.

After this, our celebrations continued in the classroom where we organised passports and boarding tickets. Miss Watson turned the interactive board into a flight simulator and we took a day trip to Italy! When we arrived Signora Webber was there to greet us in our own mini Italian Restaurant. With a little help, we all made ourselves a mini pizza. Once they were cooked and cooled, we sat down to a pizza feast. YUM!!

Once our lunch was finished, it was time to collect our boarding passes and passports and jump back on the plane back to Wattle Grove where our parents would be able to collect us in the afternoon.
