This year we will be having lots of fun whilst learning lots of new things.
So far this year we have revised over our previous year level concepts and participated in lots of team building exercises to make new friends.
Students are loving going to specialist subjects and being taught by different teachers! They have demonstrated much enthusiasm and a love of learning this far which is fantastic.

- Grammar: Synonyms and Antonyms
- Comprehension (reading): Predicting, Questioning
Numeracy
Year 1 students work through a maths program called PR1ME The focus for this 5 weeks is
- Numbers to 10 - connect quantity, numeral and number word
- comparing numbers (more and less)
- Number bonds (making 10)
